Commencement Exercises
Pageantry, pomp and circumstance, and beauty combine as members of the Huntingdon family gather for the largest and most meaningful ceremony of the year: Commencement. Commencement Exercises are held in the morning for traditional day students and in the evening for graduates of the Adult Degree Completion Program. Weather permitting, events take place on the Green, with the processional beginning in Flowers Hall and continuing along the brick-lined Walk of Honor, over the bridge and under the towering trees, through the audience, and ending at Top Stage. In the traditional ceremony, a member of the senior class is selected by the Honors Committee to present the Graduate Address. For each ceremony, graduates and families enjoy the inspiring words of a guest speaker selected especially for the occasion.
