Students recognized for scholarship, spirit, service

 

 Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College has announced the names of graduating seniors who were honored with membership in the College honor society Sigma Sigma Sigma this spring.  Tri Sigma was established in 1925 by the Huntingdon president, academic dean, and faculty for the purpose of encouraging a well-balanced college life.  Annual inductees, all of whom are graduating seniors, are selected by faculty and administrators on the basis of scholarship, spirit and service.          

The 2012 Tri Sigma inductees are:

  • Jaclyn Crossman (Cell Biology; Somers Point, N.J.) 
  • Tiffany Dean (Biochemistry; Dothan, Ala.) 
  • Jessica Dickson (Cell Biology; McCalla, Ala.) 
  • Will Francis (English; Dothan, Ala.) 
  • Sarah Jernigan (Cell Biology; Eufaula, Ala.) 
  • Colby Leonard (Religion; Coker, Ala.) 
  • Kristy McLendon (Elementary Ed.; Midfield, Ala.) 
  • Erin Ofe (English; Montgomery, Ala.) 
  • Megan Petenbrink (Religion; Marietta, Ga.) 
  • Allyn Powell (English; Andalusia, Ala.) 
  • Ashton Rodriguez (History; Elba, Ala.)
