Biography

Jones taught for the University of the Incarnate Word and served as a research technician for the University of Miami, Michigan State University, the University of South Alabama, and the USDA-Dauphin Island before joining the Huntingdon College faculty in the fall of 2012.  She earned a Dauphin Island Sea Lab Fellowship.  Her research focuses on DNA damage repair and microbial genetics.  She plans to combine bioinformatic techniques and bench work to involve Huntingdon undergraduates in continued research in these areas.
