Dr. Laughlin joined the Huntingdon faculty in the fall of 2012 from teaching and research positions at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Washington University (St. Louis), and Ithaca College, where he also served as a graduate assistant baseball coach. He has written and presented on the topic of the effects of self-controlled feedback on athletic skills and performance.  After completing his undergraduate degree, he volunteered for a year as an educational aide and reading tutor for AmeriCorps before continuing his education.
