Forms and Information for Teacher Education Program (TEP) Students  

•  Quick Reference Guide:  Thinking about adding teacher certification to your major?  This Quick Reference Guide will give you information about the programs at Huntingdon College that lead to teacher certification.
• Cogent Fingerprint Registration: The Alabama State Department of Education requires that students who are enrolled in education courses at Huntingdon complete this fingerprint background check.  This document contains step-by-step instructions on how to obtain your clearance. 
• 2012–2013 ADTTP Test Dates: This document contains important dates for administrations of the Basic Skills Test and the PRAXIS.
• Field Experience Time Sheet: In order to document your field experiences properly, please record all field experiences on this form.
• Field Experience Matrix: This document contains charts describing the number of field experience hours required for classes that lead to teacher certification.  Students must accumulate 205 field hours prior to beginning the teaching internship.
• Declaration of Teacher Certification: Students who are majoring in the content areas of Biology, Chemistry, English, History, or Mathematics and who wish to add Teacher Certification to their curriculum must complete this form and submit it to the Registrar's Office.  
• Get Admitted to TEP!: This is a quick reference page representing the criteria a student must meet in order to be admitted officially to the Teacher Education Program at Huntingdon College. 
• TEP Application: This is a required component of the admission process to the Teacher Education Program.
• TEP Recommendation Form: This document is a required component of the admittance process to the Teacher Education Program.
• Suggested Test Schedule: This document describes a suggested schedule of the tests required by the State Department of Education to be completed by individuals seeking teacher certification.
• Application for Student Teaching Internship: This document must be completed before the student teaching internship (last semester, senior year) can be assigned.
• TEP Handbook: Students seeking teacher certification should be familiar with this handbook and should refer to it regularly for guidance.  This document contains the Conceptual Framework for Huntingdon College's Teacher Education Program.
