Huntingdon College has partnered with Career Dimensions to bring you Focus, a self-paced, online career and education planning tool, enabling you to self-assess your career-relevant personal qualities. You can then explore career fields and major areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results. Focus uses valid and reliable research-based career assessments that will help you develop an accurate picture of your personal strengths, needs, and preferences, as well as help you develop a sound career plan.

We have linked to these sites so you can complete any of these assessments and then take the information to the CCV to discuss your results and see how this information fits with your career plans. Please print the results and take them with you.
These assessments are a free service provided to Huntingdon students to help with career choices, career planning, and choosing a major program. Used as a place to start, they present a portrait of who you are, what describes you, and can illustrate a bit about your personality.
- Holland Code: This assessment can be taken in the CCV Resource Center or by downloading the linked PDF; it takes approximately 4 minutes to complete.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): This is a short test based on Jung-Myers-Briggs typology and provides you with a personality formula (4 letter code) describing preferences and descriptions of your type. There is a fee for this test, which is administered in the CCV. [see all results]
