Endorsement in Economics and Finance

Business Administration majors may complete a specific set of courses (outlined in the Catalog) to earn the Endorsement in Economics and Finance. The major with the endorsement require completion of 48–54 hours of course work; the endorsement carrying 21 hours beyond the program core. This specialized track develops leadership skills by emphasizing logical thinking and analytical skills. Advanced courses in economics, finance, and mathematics and completion of a Senior Capstone course lead to a deeper understanding and analysis of decision-making in both domestic and global economic environments. In addition, competency in a foreign language broadens your communication skills and your employment or graduate study opportunities after graduation.
