Academic Advising

Mentor and student

At Huntingdon, we believe that close academic advising will not only guide you comfortably through the steps toward your academic goals, but also provide you with a seasoned mentor who will consider your interests, talents, and dreams, helping you to connect with a rewarding and meaningful vocation. Throughout your Huntingdon experience, your major adviser serves not only to help you choose courses, but also, and more importantly, as a mentor and guide to help you succeed, consider career paths, and apply for jobs and/or graduate study. If you have not yet declared a major,  no worries.  A member of faculty will advise you.  Huntingdon also offers extensive pre-professional advising by faculty members who understand the process of applying for and gaining acceptance to professional programs in fields such as law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and engineering.
