Academic Advising
At Huntingdon, we believe that close academic advising will not only guide you comfortably through the steps toward your academic goals, but also provide you with a seasoned mentor who will consider your interests, talents, and dreams, helping you to connect with a rewarding and meaningful vocation. Throughout your Huntingdon experience, your major adviser serves not only to help you choose courses, but also, and more importantly, as a mentor and guide to help you succeed, consider career paths, and apply for jobs and/or graduate study. If you have not yet declared a major, no worries. A member of faculty will advise you. Huntingdon also offers extensive pre-professional advising by faculty members who understand the process of applying for and gaining acceptance to professional programs in fields such as law, medicine, physical therapy, and engineering.
