Huntingdon faculty provide specialized advising for pre-professional studies. If you are interested in preparing for admission to graduate or doctoral studies or for professional programs in dentistry, law, medicine, ministry, optometry, physical therapy, teacher certification, theology, or veterinary medicine, you may meet with a pre-professional adviser in addition to the adviser for your academic major. Through this targeted advising, you may tailor your course work to meet entrance requirements to a specific graduate or professional program.
Students who are preparing for health-related careers should seek the advice of the Pre-Health Professions Committee. The pre-health professions committee advises, tutors, administers practice exams, and writes letters of recommendation for students seeking careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy and other health-related careers.
