The Cheek Piano Concert Series was endowed by Mr. Ben F. Cheek III and his family in memory of Elizabeth Belcher Cheek, an alumna of the College. Mrs. Cheek’s love for music and lasting love for Huntingdon led the family to establish the series as a memorial in 2001, simultaneously purchasing a Steinway grand piano for Ligon Chapel. Huntingdon faculty and guest artists participate in the series to offer free public performances of the highest calibre for the Montgomery community.
