Class Giving

1970s Alumni at Reunion 2009

Alumni giving is an important measure of alumni support for the College. Many corporations, foundations, and other potential donors consider alumni giving when determining which institutions to support. Therefore, alumni gifts are catalysts for recognition and for other gifts.

Huntingdon has consistently achieved alumni giving rates of 30% or higher in recent years.  In order to open new doors of revenue for the College, please help us increase our percentage of alumni giving and express your commitment to the College’s future through your gift to the Huntingdon Fund and to your class’ giving efforts.  Individual contributors are acknowledged by class year in the Donor Report section of Huntingdon College Magazine, published each December. You may send your gift at any time to the Office of College and Alumni Relations, call the office at (334) 833-4564 to talk about planned giving or other giving needs, or respond during the annual Alumni Phonathon.

Another way alumni may support the College's ongoing fund-raising efforts is by serving as a Class Agent or Gift Agent for your alumni class. Gift Agents rally enthusiasm among their class members, encouraging their participation in annual fund-raising. Class Agents plan activities that bring class members back together again for Homecoming and other reunion events.
