DEMOREST, Ga.—Due to heavy rainfall in the Demorest area,
day two of the Great South Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament has
been rained out.
The tournament will now be pushed back a day and maintain a similar
schedule to the originally slated game times.
Sunday's first game, which will be played at 11 a.m., will feature
No. 1 seed LaGrange against No. 3 seed Maryville, which each won its
opening round game on Friday. Game two will be an elimination game
between No. 2 seed Piedmont and No. 4 seed Huntingdon at 3 p.m., while
the winner of that game will take on the loser of the first game at 7
p.m.
The winner of the opening game on Sunday will advance to the GSAC
Tournament Championship Game, scheduled for 1 p.m.
