GSAC Men’s Tennis Tournament Championship Match between Huntingdon and Maryville Suspended

DEMOREST, Ga. - The Great South Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Tournament championship match between No. 1 seed Maryville and No. 2 Huntingdon has been suspended until Sunday afternoon at the Burgen Tennis Court on the campus of Piedmont College.

The match, which began on Saturday, will resume at the point it was suspended today. It is scheduled to begin approximately 20 minutes after the completion of the women’s championship match, which will begin at 9 a.m.

Huntingdon is currently in an early hole, trailing 2-1 after the doubles portion of the match. All six singles matches have started, but none have been completed.

The Hawks (8-8) are the two-time defending tournament champion.
