Lady Hawks Serve Up Division II Member Stillman a Loss

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---- The Huntingdon volleyball team beats Stillman in fourth set on Tuesday evening, (25-13, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12).

Freshman Kelly Kahumoku and senior Christine Whiten led the team with 10 kills each, while freshman Melony Motley added 9 in the match. Junior Alyssa Eason paced the squad with 27 assists, while sophomore Bianca Hulsey added 15.

Defensively, senior Krissie Jones led the Lady Hawks with 17 digs, while senior Christine Whiten added 9 digs in the contest. Juniors Abby Carter and Alyssa Eason each recorded one solo block and one assisted block, with freshman Abby Brown adding three assisted blocks against the Lady Tigers.

Senior Krissie Jones paced the team with three service aces in the match.

Huntingdon (11-11) will play host to Spring Hill College on Tuesday, October 12th at 6 p.m. in Catherine Dixon Roland Arena.
