GSAC Honors Pair Of Lady Hawks With Weekly Honors In Women's Tennis

The Huntingdon women's tennis program swept the GSAC weekly awards this week as Katie Scott and Kristin McDaniel once again dotted the list of conference honorees.

LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference has awarded its Player of the Week honors in women's tennis for the week ending April 3 to a pair of Lady Hawks in Katie Scott and Kristin McDaniel.  Scott takes Singles Player of the Week accolades for the third time this season while joining McDaniel for the Doubles Players of the Week awards as well.

Scott collected her singles win in conference play against Salem 6-0, 6-1 at the top singles slot for the Lady Hawks while also taking down the top regional ranked #1 from Methodist by the same score.  Scott also took Doubles Players of the Week honors with partner Kristin McDaniel after grabbing a conference win to move to 3-0 in the GSAC.
