Allen’s three goals lead Huntingdon men in alumni soccer game

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men’s soccer team took home a preseason win in Saturday’s alumni game.

The Hawks closed out their first week of preseason practice with a 5-1 win over the alumni.

“It was a solid team effort and everyone on the squad got valuable minutes,” Huntingdon coach Kevin Ray said. “I was very pleased with the overall performance.”

Jack Allen scored three goals, Kyle Hail added one and Dallas Thomas scored once.

The Hawks will scrimmage again on Friday and open the season on Sept. 3 against Emory & Henry College in Emory, Va.
