SEWANEE,
Tenn. – Birmingham-Southern scored with 20 minutes to play to edge the Huntingdon
men’s soccer team 1-0 on Sunday in the Kyle Rote Invitational.
Jordan
Osborne had four saves for the Hawks (0-2-1).
“Sewanee
coach David Poggi and Birmingham-Southern coach Preston Goldfarb both said they

since last season,” Huntingdon head coach Kevin Ray said. “We’re disappointed
with our loss today and the loss to Sewanee on Saturday, but this team has a
fantastic work ethic. We have a lot to be proud of moving forward.”
Atli
Johannsson and Stacy Terry were both named to the all-tournament team.
The
Hawks will play their first home game on Thursday. Huntingdon hosts Southern
University at 4:30 p.m.
