New Student Orientation

New students 2011

Orientation is a dynamic program aimed to guide new students into their transition into Huntingdon College. The program provides an opportunity for students to connect with other incoming students, meet upperclassmen as mentors, interact with faculty and staff, register for fall classes and receive more information about academics and student life at Huntingdon. A separate program for parents is held simultaneously at each session to better acquaint parents with College services and resources.

At Orientation, students meet in groups led by upperclassman Orientation Leaders. These students are chosen for their strong leadership abilities, their consistent character, and their love for Huntingdon. Their main goal is to welcome incoming students into the Huntingdon family and to assist in the transition of the newest Hawks.
