Big Red Weekend

Held the Friday and Saturday before classes begin in the fall, Big Red Weekend is a mandatory event for incoming freshmen and is highly encouraged for incoming transfer students, both residents and commuters. During Big Red Weekend, new students receive their I.D. cards and laptop computers, among a myriad of activities. New resident students will move into their residence hall rooms on the Friday of Big Red Weekend.
