Chi Omega  

Chi O 2012Chi Omega Fraternity was founded April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas.  Huntingdon's Lambda Kappa chapter began in February 1976. The largest women’s fraternal organization in the world, Chi O has more than 310,000 initiates and 174 collegiate chapters. The sisterhood provides a network of friends and lifelong development for collegiate and alumnae members and is committed to personal integrity, excellence in academic and intellectual pursuits, inter-generational participation, community service, leadership opportunities, and social enrichment. Since 2002, the national philanthropy for Chi Omega Fraternity has been the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Chi Omega has raised more than $2 million and given more than 100,000 volunteer hours to this important cause.
