Student Right-to-Know Act

Passed by Congress in 1990, the Student Right-to-Know Act, requires institutions receiving Title IV funding under the Higher Education Act of 1965 to calculate completion or graduation rates of degree-seeking, full-time students, including athletes, entering that institution, and to disclose these rates to current and prospective students.

Huntingdon College makes the following information available by email multiple times per academic year to current students by linking to its Consumer Information page. This consumer page is included in all web sites for applicants as well.

Huntingdon College posts information to the Consumer Information section of the college’s website on the graduation rates of cohorts of full-time, first-time, degree-seeking undergraduates, and student athletes that have received financial aid.

Note that these rates describe results first-time, full-time students who matriculate in the fall and excludes transfer students and students beginning in spring term.

Huntingdon College also makes available to current and prospective students, information about student body diversity, including the percentage of enrolled, full-time students in the following categories: male, female, self-identified members of a major racial or ethnic group, and Federal Pell Grant recipients.

Additionally, Huntingdon College makes available to current and prospective students the retention and graduation rate of degree-seeking first-time undergraduate students as reported to IPEDS.
