  • Erin Curtis Harvey ’18 and her husband, Justus, welcomed a daughter, Madelyn Grace Harvey, in March 2025.
  • Hannah Lane Hawk ’09 and her husband, Caleb, welcomed a daughter, Goldie Marie Hawk, in March 2025.
  • Tripp Jones ’20 MAT ’23 and his wife, Madison, welcomed a daughter, Emersyn Rae Jones, in March 2025.

Retirements/Promotions/Honors/General News

  • Rev. Misty Edwards Barrett ’89 is the Senior Minister of the Newly Formed Christ Methodist Church Montgomery. She joined the Global Methodist Church after 34 years in the UMC. Misty serves on the Alumni Board for Huntingdon, and she and her husband Jimbo are so excited to be living in Montgomery.
  • Ashley Burke ’22 was named to the 40 under 40 for the centrAL INC! Magazine in the Montgomery River Region for her work as a Client Accounting Services Associate at Warren Averett.
  • Hope Eakins ’13 was named to the 40 under 40 for the centrAL INC! Magazine in the Montgomery River Region for her work as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at AlaCOMP.
  • Adrian Harper ’19 started a new job with the Atlanta Dream as the Manager of Basketball Operations
  • Shannen O’Leary ’16 was named to the 40 under 40 for the centrAL INC! Magazine in the Montgomery River Region for her work as a Qualifying Broker at 334 Property Management.
  • Jacob Pitts ’22 was recognized in March in Las Vegas as a Pinnacle Award Winner from Clear Channel Outdoor where he is an Account Executive.
  • Danny Springer ’76 is a retired educator after 43 years. He is currently the Founder of the Double Springs Youth Basketball, financial advisor for Double Springs Baptist Church and the Winston Baptist Association in Double Springs, Alabama.
  • Will Thrash ’17 was promoted to Controller for ATA Comp Fund and Alliance Interstate Risk Service.  Will was a CPA for the company prior.

  • Sylvia Wood Brown ’50 passed away on January 15, 2025, in Chatom, Alabama.
  • Janice Akin Buck ’55 passed away on February 23, 2025, in Franklin, Tennessee.
  • Elizabeth Faulkner Harvell ’54 passed away on March 14, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama.
  • Emma Howard ’28 passed away on March 23, 2025, in Russell County, Alabama.
  • Maurice Mussafer, longtime friend of the College, passed away on March 6, 2025. We extend condolences to his family including his wife, Peggy; his sister, Gracie Hanchrow and her husband, Jack; and to his brother, Joe Mussafer and his wife Charlotte.
  • Mary Conover Neese ’71 passed away on January 20, 2025, in Brewton, Alabama.
  • Eleanor Pritchard Perry ’46 passed away on March 28, 2025, in Kennesaw, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Pritchard Oshins ’44.
  • Nelldeane Price ’51 passed away on March 16, 2025, in Homewood, Alabama.
  • Michael Rich ’82 passed away on March 4, 2025, in Mooresville, North Carolina.
  • Mary Tom Fain Stubbs ’51 passed away on January 22, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama.
