Biography

Ms. Laryne Monte joined the Huntingdon music program in 2017. She serves as accompanist to the Huntingdon Concert Choir and Huntingdon Ensemble and as organist for Memorial Presbyterian Church in Montgomery. She has previously served as accompanist for the Thornapple Covenant Church choir in Grand Rapids, Michigan; a piano instructor for The Piano Cottage, Grand Rapids, Michigan; an adjunct instructor of music for Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan; and as a piano instructor for Crescendo Academy of Music in Kalamazoo, Michigan, among a long list of piano accompanist and instruction posts.

Ms. Monte has performed solo recitals for various churches in Michigan as well as for Western Michigan University and the University of Alabama.
