Biography
Ms. Ehinger has taught with the Huntingdon College Department of Biology for a number of years. Before joining Huntingdon she served as an adjunct instructor with the University of Alabama-Huntsville Department of Biological Sciences, where she did her graduate work and teaching assistantship. She was also an adjunct instructor with the Calhoun Community College Department of Natural Sciences.
Ms. Ehinger has also worked outside the teaching realm, serving as a post graduate fellow/contractor for the Natural Resources Division in the Department of Environmental Management at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, Redstone Arsenal. There, she conducted biological monitoring and management of protected plant populations, revised and prepared the Endangered Species Management Plan, created thematic maps for cultural and natural resources, and oversaw a 30-acre wetland mitigation bank, among other responsibilities. She has served as a biological consultant with OMI, Inc. in Buck Island, Alabama, and as a biologist with EDAW, Inc., in Huntsville, Alabama.
