- Lamonyn Burney ’20, the head girls basketball coach at T.R. Miller High School in Brewton, has been named a finalist for the 3A Girls Coach of the Year by the Alabama Association of Basketball Coaches.
- Lee Herring ’23 was named WSFA Channel 12 in Montgomery, Alabama a “Class Act” on February 18, 2025 for his work as the Band Director at Greenville High School in Greenville, Alabama.
- Ca’Terius Hinton ’20 has accepted a position as the new Head Football Coach and Athletic Director of Linden High School in Linden, Alabama .
- Sjohna Pierce Hughes ’15 has accepted a new position as the Head Cheer Coach at Prattville High School.
- Sawyer Kendrick ’21 has accepted a new position as the Co-Defensive Coordinator at Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama.
- Matthew Lewis ’07 has a new book coming out. Alabama’s Best Fly Fishing will be available in April of 2025.
- Abigail McKenzie Marler ’21 began a new job as a Registered Nurse at Gentiva Hospice.
- Sam Munce ’18 has taken on a new role as a clinical instructor for Auburn University Nursing.
- Connor Recio ’24 recently attended the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was a three-day event, where young professionals in Collegiate Athletics come to learn and develop their leadership and knowledge to succeed. Connor is currently enrolled in the sports management master’s program at AUM and is a graduate assistant in the athletic administration.
- Dr. Rocky Wool ’09 has accepted a position as an interventional cardiologist with Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates in Montgomery, Alabama.

- Pauline Fulton Judd ’67 passed away on February 1, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama.
- Michael Provitt ’78 passed away on February 20, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama. We sent our sympathy to his wife, Kelyne Mitchell Provitt ’79.
- Keith Sabel ’71 passed away on February 10, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama.
- Dorothy Waters Wilson ’56 passed away on January 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.
