Huntingdon Bands Preparing Veterans Day Concert on the Green

Montgomery, Ala. – The Huntingdon band program is preparing a special Veterans Day concert on the Huntingdon Green, Friday, November 10, at 11:00 a.m.  The performance, under the direction of Huntingdon Director of Bands, Mr. Anthony Vittore, will feature the Huntingdon concert band, jazz band, and percussion ensemble.

“We are honored to be able to recognize our local veterans and all the sacrifices they have made for our freedom,” noted Vittore.  “This is a small token of our gratitude and admiration that we have for all of them. I look forward to having people attend and get a chance to show off our talented musicians and show them what the Huntingdon music department has to offer.”

Admission is free and open to the public.  All are invited to bring a lawn chair, a blanket, and a picnic lunch to enjoy the patriotic tunes and honor local veterans.
