Huntingdon Greek Organizations Recognize Excellence
Montgomery, Ala. – On Friday, April 12, the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic organizations hosted a Greek awards ceremony to recognize outstanding academic achievement, service to the institution, and excellence in programming.
The following individuals and organizations were honored:
- Outstanding Chapter Advisor – Sarah Carroll ’10, Alpha Omicron Pi
- Faculty Member of the Year – Dr. Erastus Dudley
- Staff Member of the Year – Coach Mary Willis
- Organizations with GPAs above the all-Greek average – Alpha Omicron Pi and Phi Mu
- Highest New Member Class GPAs – Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Nu
- Chapter Excellence Award in Scholarship – Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Phi Epsilon
- Chapter Excellence Award in Programming – Chi Omega and Lambda Chi Alpha
- Chapter Excellence in Alumni Relations – Alpha Omicron Pi and Lambda Chi Alpha
- Community Service Award – Phi Mu and Lambda Chi Alpha
- Campus Involvement Award – Chi Omega and Sigma Nu
- Innovative Programming Award – Chi Omega and Sigma Nu
- Academic Programming Award – Alpha Omicron Pi and Lambda Chi Alpha
- Panhellenic Award – Phi Mu
- Interfraternal Award – Sigma Phi Epsilon
- Greek Week Banner Competition – Alpha Omicron Pi
- Greek Week Penny Wars Competition – Alpha Omicron Pi
- Greek Week Mock Rock Competition – Lambda Chi Alpha
- Greek Week Spirit Award – Alpha Omicron Pi
- Dean’s Award – Donnie Sasser of Lambda Chi Alpha and Toni Ashford of Alpha Kappa Alpha
- Future Fraternity Leader of the Year – Hayden Smith ’27, Sigma Phi Epsilon
