Births
- Mitch Clemmons ’14 and Georgianna Hunt Clemmons ’16 welcomed a son, Graham McCall Clemmons, in September 2024.
- Angie Hall ‘12 and her husband, Korey, welcomed a daughter, Clara Caroline in October of 2023.
- Madison Harris Mitchell ’19 and her husband, Garrett, welcomed a daughter, Sophie James Mitchell, in September 2024.
- Anthony Wood ’18 and his wife, Mary-Lynne, welcomed a son, Maverick Chance Wood, in September 2024.

Graduate School Graduations
- Meghan Wood ’14 completed a doctorate in counseling psychology at Texas Woman’s University in August 2024.
Retirements/Promotions/Honors/General News
- Kennedy Chambers ‘24 has started a new position at Capell & Howard, P.C. in Montgomery, AL in an administrative role.
- McCayla Clements ‘22 won the DVM category of the Phi Zeta research day at the University of Tennessee.
- Addison Fuller Franklin ‘21 has passed the Alabama bar exam and joined Capell & Howard, P.C. in Montgomery, AL as an associate attorney.
- Nick McClinton ‘20 has passed the Alabama bar exam.
- Blake Meadows ‘21 has passed the Alabama bar exam.
- Dane Reece ‘11 was named the August Teacher for the Month from KiX 96.3 radio station in Alexander City, Alabama and Heritage South Credit Union.
- Claire Tomberlin ‘21 has passed the Maine bar exam and with scores that allow her to be a licensed attorney in any UBE state.
In Memoriam
- John Bullard, a former Huntingdon trustee, passed on September 3, 2024. He was a supporter of Huntingdon College and had family connections to the school starting with his maternal grandfather, John Bryant Cumming, a Methodist minister on the committee that made the decision to move the College from Tuskegee to Montgomery in the early 1900s. His mother, Mary Virginia Cumming, was a member of the Class of 1918, and her two sisters graduated later in the 1920s.
- Nellie Barrow Fleming ‘48 passed on September 7, 2024.
- Justice Gorman Houston passed on September 13, 2024. He received an honorary doctorate from Huntingdon College in 2004.
- Margaret Ann Ryan Nelson ‘55 passed away on September 17, 2024.
- Madolyn Anderson Radney passed away on September 4, 2024. Her husband, Tom Radney, was a distinguished member of the Huntingdon College Board of Trustees for many years. The Radneys were great ambassadors for Huntingdon in Alexander City, AL.
- Jimmy Wayne Skelton ‘65 passed away on September 8, 2024.
- Sue Glenn Staton ‘60 passed away on September 20, 2024. She was a Huntingdon Homecoming Queen and is survived by her sister, Carolyn Glenn Cowles ‘57.
- Shirley Parker Watkins ‘56 passed away on September 7, 2024.
